TOP THREE FAVORITE APPS TO USE WHILE IN QUARANTINE!
Hello, I can not believe that we have already been in quarantine for 30 days. How long has it been for all of you?? I think the days go pretty fast but it feels like forever in the long run. It’s amazing how everyone has adapted to our new normal. My girls have really taken to this new life. School work in their pajamas and midday bike riding breaks are a few of their favorite daily activities.
But, I continue to dream about being released back into the world. I kind of feel like a caged animal, and I just can not wait to roam free again. Do you feel the same way?
During our time at home, we have found a few new technology apps that help to make the days shorter and more enjoyable. We wanted to list three of our favorite apps to use while in quarantine.
3. Zoom – Zoom has been a lifesaver. Happy hours, game nights, playdates for kids, board meetings – all of these are ways that we have used zoom, and we cannot imagine quarantine without this app. We were even able to do a family seder for Passover as well as Easter family calls. It is such a great way to bring people together in this time of isolation.
2. Grocery Store Pick-up or Delivery Apps – Don’t feel like getting in a mask and gloves to go to the store?? Well, you can pick-up at most grocery stores by using their app. Log on to the app, pick out the items you want, find an open date and time for pick-up, and drive up to the store! It’s really easy, and it makes social distancing while grocery shopping so much easier. Also, be sure to check for an app for your favorite restaurant. We have been using those to order online and then pick at the scheduled time. It is super convenient and also allows us to support local businesses during this time.
1. AllTrails – As many of you have seen on our social media, our new hobby of hiking has really been keeping us busy and sane. At first, I would just google trails in the area and then go and explore. I then stumbled upon the app AllTrails, and our new hobby has flourished. When you open the app, it offers you trail ideas in the area or you can choose to search in another area. When you are ready to start a trail, you can record it to see how long it takes and the exact length. You can also save trails as well as mark them complete once done. I am having a blast searching for great trail options in and around the area.
We hope you have enjoyed reading about our top three favorite apps to use while in quarantine! Thank you for wandering along with us, and stay safe!

We’ve certainly become more acquainted with various apps during this time as well. AllTrails looks really cool, looks like there’s a trail not too far from us (even in the city)!
